The most recent of Yafe and Shaami’s adoptions, Peppermint is their most curious son. Even as a hatchling he’s come to enjoy wandering out of the house, happily protected by the skeletons Yafe animated for him (a clear sign of her favoritism for her only magically-attuned son, even if she won’t say it). Peppermint is also happy to practice his own magic on them, manipulating objects and plants to dress them up in matching outfits.

His wanderings led him to the campsite of a very troubled looking couple, and, having been told by his moms to go to them if there was any trouble, also led him to bringing Rhune and Zira to their home. Peppermint, unlike Yafe, really hopes they stay. Not because his moms are boring, but because the youngster likes trying to dress up his protector skeletons to camouflage them into Zira’s paintings, delighting in each time he’s able to get away with it and find them “accidentally” part of a beautiful landscape.
