Sound Stealer
Resonance hates noise, especially sudden noises, because his wingfins are insanely sensitive. He likes cultivating pretty plants as well as plants to feed his bug farm. He's the main supplier of bugs to the bug-eaters in the Clan. The only bug he won't raise is crickets.
Resonance raises bugs even with his noise sensitivity because the buzzing and scuttling is more like white noise than sound, to him. He goes to great lengths to silence any other noise, to the point of coming up with his own noise-canceling spells and silence field rune arrangements. Learning to construct things helps his knowledge of constructing his own silent greenhouses and bug houses. He also has a mind-projection spell he uses with dragons who don't know sign that he came up with himself - unlike other temporary telepathy spells, Resonance's is one-way. He just uses it to yell at other dragons.
His bees are distributed yearly to farms in the area. Verdant gets a couple hives for free, and Resonance gets free reign in her forest to hunt for himself.
A hermit whose house and bug farm in nearly impossible to find, unless he guides you there. Hated living under the Shifting Expanse, all the construction sounds were hell on his ears. He left the Expanse years before Sandsurges were discovered, so desperate to escape the constant irregular noise he straight-up swam in the ocean to get around the Expanse. Underwater was nice and quiet, and Resonance would have loved to stay, but he's not a Water dragon. The Ruins are acceptably quiet, so he's just stayed. The Sanctuary moved in later, and he only approached them after a stray hatchling reached his cottage one day. He's had a lovely, quiet supplier relationship with the Clan ever since.
For a bunch of noisy moderns, they aren't bad at all.
