Nickel Cat Figurine 		Her first memories were of coldness. She was stranded in a tumultuous ocean, clinging desperately to a piece of wood, driven by pure instinct. She didn't know how long she'd been there, rocked by the waves, fighting for each gasp of breath as saltwater splashed her face. But eventually she washed ashore.

The next thing she remembered was a guardian's face. It took several days for the achiness and exhaustion to wane- but at long last, she was safe. The adults learned a few things about the snapper as she recovered. She had no wings, only nubs in their place. She was small, frightfully so, and her hide was a dull gray. It seemed as if some part of the ocean, whether it be the water itself or something inside it, had drained her magic and vitality. Arcane worked in strange ways, after all, and its waters were no exception. She was quite lucky to be rescued before it was too late.

Thankfully, she grew stronger with each day. She was given the name Lovey for her newfound cuddly personality and the heart patterns on her eyes. The guardian- Ambrose- became her caretaker, as well as a huge role model for Lovey. She was even fitted prosthetic wings with colors matching her new favorite dragon.

They later realized the ocean also took Lovey's ability to age. No amount of recovery could amend all that was drained from her. But no matter- she was easily taken in by the Melon Brigade. Her eternally youthful friends, along with Ambrose, helped coax the meek snapper out of her shell. Soon she began to be rambunctious and playful, and despite everything, is a perfectly happy kid.
