The Leper's Rest Inn's shaky, dilapidated exterior has recently been reinforced, and Quasi is to thank for it. Taught to recognize the importance of his Earth roots from a young age, Quasi wishes to work close to the stone and soil. He is an apprentice mason, but his remarkable strength have given this quiet dragon great success in his field so far. Now that he has an established career, however, Quasi is beginning to ponder what else could be out there for a young dragon, and while his mother is curiously absorbing the world from a distance, Quasi's heart yearns to be part of it.

A unique case as far as Obelisk dragons go, the egg that housed Quasi was built into his mother Matilde's petrified form. Matilde kept her distance from the clan of dragons that she hardly understood and labored constantly over tending to the egg. As two dragons of a newly created species, his mother Matilde became Quasi's closest ally from the moment he hatched into her loving embrace. But coming from a dragon who does not fully understand her own roots, practically an alien to this world, for all the love Matilde had for her son, she did not know what values and stories she needed to pass down to her son. Quasi grew to be as antisocial as his mother, believing the two of them to be outcasts in a clan already full of the rejected. But as he grew older and felt the earth and rocks between his claws, learning his place and finding his skills, guilt hit Quasi for isolating himself for so long. He knew his mother had much to take in, but her isolated lifestyle was becoming harder and harder to understand. Obelisks would remain alone forever if they only contemplated their origins without ever moving forward... so, Quasi searched for a way to get closer to his fellow dragons. One he found by using his Earth connections and great strength, utilizing these skills to become a budding stonemason. As a show of good faith, Quasi reinforced the dilapidated Leper's Rest Inn with sturdy stone, and now many of the regulars have taken an interest in getting to know him. Quasi hopes to continue building things for other dragons, as it has proven to help him get closer to them before. Matilde remains isolated and contemplative, but he hopes to one day have his mother join him in social pursuits.
