Not truly a member of the clan, nor truly a member of the living, Remorseless lives as a specter that lingers on the edges of the campus as the Hewn City. Though she is a benevolent entity - for the most part - her visage remains fearsome, her presence the bone-chilling cold of a deep winter blizzard. Most of the dragons in the clan avoid her at best or flee at worst, but she has not harmed any of them and so she is left alone. The Harbinger herself, as well as Chione and Verglas, continue a somewhat one-sided relationship with Remorseless. The Wraith doesn’t communicate, but she seems to understand them when approached.

Despite the perpetual phantasmal blizzard that surrounds her, no harm has ever come to a member of the clan. The opposite seems to be true, in fact; it was claimed by one of the clan’s Banescale hatchlings that a giant, smoking icicle had driven away a massive noggle that had nearly taken away the hatchling.
