An Acolyte of A False God

Seraphim comes from a lair centered around worshipping deities. It was a custom for the dragon to receive its name once it becomes an acolyte to a deity. As a young acolyte, Seraphim was gifted the name Clyde and assigned to a minor God to be its servant.

The unnamed God was vicious, merciless and vile, but Clyde stood by its side because that was the tradition... surely, the God is always right...? As years went by, the God became lazy and evil, staining Clyde's belief in its God. One day, the God entered the High Chamber and shattered the pot which contained an evil spirit. The Spirit was starving and started decimating the temple, leaving plague and fire. As soon as that happened Clyde realized that the God it was worshipping was in reality, a mere impostor, a demon-servant of the Spirit who pretended to be a real God. Everyone in that Light Lair was massacred, leaving Clyde the only survivor.

Clyde left its destroyed home and flew as far as it could, stumbling upon The Clan of Windy Pines. Under a new name, Seraphim, they look for a way to capture the Spirit once again and get their revenge on it. They are a close friend of Mirage's, both sharing similar backgrounds. Seraphim was very skeptical when a new dragon showed up, by the name of Fenrir. They didn't trust the strange black and red Wildclaw.

» They are Aromantic Asexual

» The tradition of their former clan was to not give pronouns to the dwellers, therefore the pronoun It/Its was the only way to refer to someone. Seraphim currently uses the pronouns They/It.

» Seraphim used to be a nerdy dragon before the incident, afterwards they became distrustful and closeted. Their only friend is Mirage.

» Most clan members tend to avoid Seraphim due to their behaviour.

» Seraphim picked their current name in honour of their old home and their traditions, also serving as a reminder of their relationship with the false God, being the God's closest and most trusted guardian.
