During the historical Dustcarve Dig, Sorien offered a group of his researchers to travel to the Earth Flight and give their assistance, the call from the patron deity of their Allies not one to be turned away. Kai, Ptolemy, and Slinky under the protection of Torn worked tirelessly to aid the excavation, and what they found at its center stunned them all to their very core: the arrival of the Obelisks. Amidst their speechlessness, an impressive and commanding one approached their group, her immense size and muscle causing even Torn to look rivaled in comparison. "Fear not travelers and friends to the Earthshaker. My name is Shoura, and I offer myself in service to your people." Her arrival thrilled the clan, the air buzzing with excitement over the new dragon creation the Earthshaker had called the world together to discover. Though her personality is more stoic than much of the wondrous joy that had been shared among her brethren at their awakening, her enthusiasm presents itself in unwavering devotion to her new clan and incredible patience, taking in the new world she's woken into with enrapt observation. Personality clashes are received with polite deference, and trouble in navigating the many quirks and customs of the different species she lives among are conquered through patient inquiry until their mannerisms are fully understood. Though her immense size is intimidating to many in the clan, her even tone and mild temper has been more than enough to put anyone crossing her path at ease. In the face of the fears surrounding the Earth Flight that led to her creation, she has taken post alongside Torn in the Researcher's Caverns as a sentry, patrolling its depths for any sign of the rising threat that has caused so much alarm. As they were the first faces she ever met, she has a special attachment to the scientists and explorers that took her in, and her firm determination to keep them safe has her tirelessly vigilant for any threat that may reveal itself, no matter how large. |

It had taken a while for Torn to accustom to her formidable presence when it was revealed she'd be joining his post, but he soon had to acknowledge the relief that came with the extra set of eyes and claws to help guard the caverns. They regard each other strangely, Torn disconcerted by her incredible strength and ability to turn into stone, and Shoura stunned by his ingenuity in the security systems he has built through the caves. They talked freely when it was only formalities, discussing patrols through the caverns and pondering what it was they were on the watch for. Recently though, as they've come to see each other's sincerest personalities, Torn's words to her end in sputters, and Shoura finds herself unable to ask what's wrong.
