Sunbeam's personal archivist, Taraq has always been one to stand out from the rest of her clanmates. The first reason is that she is of the first generation of Obelisks to be discovered by the Dragonhome Preservation Guild during their expedition to find the Earthshaker. The second reason is that her blunt and judgemental demeanor has resulted in her having very few friends, leaving the others to be intimidated or view her quite negatively, with the exception of her mate Moonbeam and Akira. Despite this, she is very skilled at recording information and preserving knowledge that she is sometimes compared to a Snapper, much to her distaste. Her stern facial expressions often have dragons calling her the local "Stonefaced Grouch". In addition, word has it that Taraq has a secret love for sweets...
