pîsimoyâpîs is a dragon of more wisdom than their supposed age would let on. At home swimming through the depths, their fins, their hair-like tendrils, and their wings can unfurl to their fullest extent, longer than even those of a Skydancer, trailing behind them like a blanket in shimmering hues. While a wonder underwater, they're clumsy and ungainly on land. pîsimoyâpîs is an artisan, a craftsperson, who enjoys sculpting, beading accents and accessories, and painting. They move with grace through the water, participating in ancient dances passed down by their kin, which have various purposes; for luck, for hearty shoals of fish to prey upon, for triumph in an upcoming skirmish or battle, for safe travel... as they move, pîsimoyâpîs releases streams of bubbles which swirl around their wings and fins, creating an illusory effect amplified by their shimmering colors. Despite appearances and physiology, pîsimoyâpîs is the descendant of plains-traveling Wind Flight dragons, a nomadic clan that travels with the herds and the seasons and with a rich, storied history. The reason for their appearance differing so, and their Water Flight heritage, is that the two lineages came to intertwine at some point; while they have a deep-seated desire to travel to the Windswept Plateau and to meet their distant cousins, they are acutely aware that they are unable to fly, unable to participate in a meaningful way, and so they work to translate their customs into new ways of life for their Water Flight clan. |

pîsimoyâpîs is my fursona, a blanket octopus. This is my attempt to make them in Flight Rising as a gen 1 water dragon. The name is Cree in origin, to represent my and their heritage, and is not meant to be capitalized.
