notes: Salad's egg was found in a chest, deep within a mine. The miners working on the dig project were horrified at the negligence--what cruel parent would leave their child all the way down here? With care, Ferric takes the egg with him back to the [NAME] clan, and to his wife, Dewdrop. They had never discussed having children before, but surely she'd understand how dire the situation was, right? It turns out Ferric's worries were unfounded, though, because Dewdrop is simply delighted to have the chance to raise a child. She's outraged by the egg's origins, of course, but knows it's best to look past that and focus on the kid.
