Healer & Gladiator At first look the Coatl looks dull and sickly, but as you watch vibrant color starts to overtake his fine scales. "What, this?" he indicates his now lively blue-green scales. Mercenary that has taken on the role of protector for the wandering traders. They are not used to being settled, but they refuse to leave their family and they refuse to allow the clan to replace them with their own guardians (they accept Pan because he and his sister are originally part of the caravan. They supported his desire to become an enforcer). Because of their constant moving about they are hyper-vigilant and more often than not very intense to be around. Once you get to know them, however, they are a couple of really nice guys. Athos: Quiet and reserved, Athos is a good-hearted drake that takes his job seriously. He can be a bit quirky when first encountering the Coatl, but after a while... well, he's still just a quirky kinda guy with a geeky weird streak that almost makes him seem childlike. Though, he might act like a hatchling when on his downtime he is most certainly not one. Athos is a very intelligent dragon and when it comes to his prowess in battle, he is outmatched by few others. He has a unique ability that gives him an advantage on the battlefield. Athos has the ability to transfer his own life force to another in order to heal them. How much he heals is dependent on how much he gives. Thankfully, there is a limit to the amount of life he can transfer. His body will not allow him to give so much it extinguishes his own life. Using this ability caused a strange reaction. Athos' normal vibrant coloration will dull to the point he's monotone, sickly in appearance. Depending on the drain, he can stay in this alternate coloration for a few hours to a few weeks. |
