Murdoch he/him "of the sea"
the same species as Genie, though the parasite did an incredibly poor job of taking over the host's brain. The dragon still has complete control of his own body, but he can hear the voice of the parasite. He can also see the parasite's physical form walking around and speaking to him, though it's only in his head and caused by the parasite. Murdoch is the name of the dragon, and Tabby is the name of the parasite. Tabby is more of a nuisance than a threat, and Murdoch just puts up with her nonsense.
Murdoch is a dragon of few words, though he does speak to empty air as if another dragon was there (this is when he speaks to Tabby). This quirks are easily overlooked in this town, though, so he is accepted with open arms. He works as an insect farmer for the insectivorous members of the clan.
