EmoBoy, known by several other aliases, such as Mari, Emo, or Mo, is true to his full name. He's an edgy kid who loves his ability to melt into shadows. Despite being a little emo kid, he's surprisingly extroverted, and fun to be around! Most of the time he's with his bees, though. Yeah, that's what the beekeeping hat is for! Mari is the one and only beekeeper in Exile, and the other dragons are kind of terrified of him for it. He's trained his bees very well, and talks to them through tapping on their hives. They're super SUPER friendly to dragons, yet he can't seem to convince any of his friends to come over and see his bees! Mari doesn't even need the beekeeping hat, really, as his bees would protect him with their lives, and would never dare to sting him. Mari also takes care of wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets, and has also trained them accordingly. Mari loves his vast collection of Apoidea, and just hangs out with them most of the time. Apart from his insect-loving side, he's similar to bees in terms of personality. He's chill and laid back most of the time, loves sweet things, and intimidates others completely by accident. Mari just wants to be friends, it's not his fault that he's super loud and bouncy! He's really, really agile and energetic, so he moves ZUPER fast, especially when he flies. Dragons challenge him to races all the time, whether it be on foot or in the air, and either way, Mari wipes the floor with them. He's also a pushover, therefore he's a follower, and tries to stay on dragons' good sides. Despite his alternative nature, he's very easily pressured into doing things, listens to his idiot friends, and does even dumber things. The one and only time that his friends were right is when they bugged him so bad about his crush on GothGirl that he actually asked her out. Well, huzzah! It worked, and Gab is dating Mari now.

The way EmoBoy arrived to Exile is similar to how Badlands got there. He got curious as to what was past the Scarred Wasteland's border, and stumbled across the Starwood Strand. He panicked, decided that the forest was too drastic of a change, and scrambled back into Plague territory. During his escape, Mari stumbled into Exile. Despite being extroverted, Mari isn't a fan of large groups, so he went to the smallest village he could find, and introduced himself. Exile let him reside there, but Meteor was hidden at every corner he turned for a few months.

Some random fun facts about EmoBoy!
- He likes to chew on things. Bones are his favorite because they last some time, but he'll chew on a lot of things.
- EmoBoy and Callophrys pick berries together. He picks berries all the time, as if it was his favorite fruit. You'd be wrong, he likes apples more.
-EmoBoy prefers day over night, as his dark feathers absorb all of the heat from the sun, and he's comfy-cozy.
-EmoBoy's eyes are actually rainbow. The longer you look into them, the more iridescent they become, and the more he questions why you're staring at him.
