Warrior & Protector
Chaotic Good Renegade is a young and fierce Wildclaw from the Scarred Wasteland. She abhors her birth flight, and as a hatchling, was terrified of the Plaguebringer (though she'll never admit it). The first chance she got, Renegade denounced her clan and her home, and fled to the Starfall Isles. This is also when she took on her current name, never to use her birth name again. She often struggles with whether or not her disdain for plague should be counted as a weakness on her part, and so her confidence and self esteem is not very high. Still, as a Wildclaw, she has a certain appearance to uphold, and she will go out of her way to prove her strength to others around her. The first clan she found when she crossed the border was Vesperia, and Bruno, the head of military forces, was more than willing for another Wildclaw to join his ranks. Renegade did not make her journey alone, however. She was accompanied by her cousin, Mar. Mar does not share Renegade's sentiments towards their birth flight, but seeing as Renegade is her charge, Mar refuses to leave the Wildclaw's side. When they were still just hatchlings, Mar imprinted on Renegade, declaring the Wildclaw her charge. This was both humiliating for Renegade's parents, but also a strange comfort for Renegade. Mar made living in a terrifying place more bearable. Mar's dedication to Renegade makes for an interesting friendship. On the one hand, Renegade is glad to have a close comrade, but on the other, she feels so embarrassed for Mar to have chosen her as a ward. Why would a Wildclaw ever need to be protected by a weaker species? In the meantime, Renegade is proving to be one of Bruno's most accomplished fighters. When she's got downtime, she enjoys spending time in the gardens, though is careful not to let any of her magical ability bring the blooms to harm. |
