Harbinger was born from a nature egg that was cradled in the virulent slime of the plague MOTHER'S nests. While his father has never told him the truth of his origins, he has always wondered why his father nested in the Wastelands instead of their home.

While he has asked about his mother, his father has only told him that she is with his grandparents in the Icewarden's domain. He is an only child and feels some resentment towards his family's mission to spread the bloom to the Icelands.

Why can't they all just be together in the Glades...?

Harbinger serves the Gladeskeeper (like his father) though he is often seen traveling through the Wastelands and the stormy Shifting Expanse...

As an emissary, he travels a network of transport routes to deliver Glades ambassadors and collect dragons of stormy appearances from the Wasteland magi. They are gifted to the Glades tribes as coliseum warriors to be sent by the nature-natives to serve the Stormcatcher, who will in return send his rains.

He was born with the red eyes of MOTHER, but his true home lays in the Glades.

He hopes to understand the magic of the seed scar and aid in his family's mission to spread the bloom to the icelands but he worries it may spur another war...
