Not many know that a mistletoe isn't the beautiful symbol it's made out to be, and that in reality, it's a parasite. Mistletoe Pulsar is one of the most dark and twisted Light dragons, though true to his flight as the Light flight is dedicated to exposing all truths, even dangerous ones. But to the uninitiated and the empty-handed, he swears that "Crook" is just shorthand for Crystal Nook, and not a testament to the quality of his or any patron's character. Emotionally distant and difficult to read, he seemingly keeps his head down as a bartender, but secretly eavesdrops on everyone's conversations in order to gather information. What information? Any information. He would be considered the biggest gossip in town, if it weren't for the fact that he charges a fee for telling you what he knows. Despite the dedication to truth, he is notably a petty liar without greased palms. The only information he would never sell is the whereabouts of his teeny tiny boyfriend, Hazina, especially to those looking for him. Two rogues unwanted by society, bonding over being shady and unsavory. No one has their backs except for each other as no one else can see the diamonds in the rough. The diamond here being true to one's dark self, being a cynic and a realist... When the city is closing in around you as being bastions of justice, fairness and goodness. The patrons of Crook's Tavern refuse that fabrication of character and won't be covered up. Will you pay to hear the truth about the tavern's meaning?  
Though the tavern is frequented by most of the town, it's a safe haven for lowlifes and dark souls. "This is the ugly truth, the dark reality; we are the seedy underbelly of New Nook City." |
