"Coffee...?" Whisp muttered, following this unsual dragon deeper into the den. "Yes! Coffee! It is exellent! I practically run a coffee shop down here." Espresso said enthusiasticly. "..Although I would ask you to not bite my ankles while you are here?" "What? No! That is Wisp's thing. Im WHISP. With a H!" Whisp cried. "Im also more of a tea person myself.." "Oh, my bad! Im not the best at it yet, but I can in fact make some delicious tea!" Whisp had to admit, the coffee shop was very likable. It was in a corner of the Light level, right next to the entrance so anyone could get a drink when comming in or out. Scattered around the rest of the level were various dragon beds, dens, and even hammocks, most of which were taken. In the other corner was the entrance to the Dim level. "This place is designed to house many dragons of all kinds!" Espresso claimed. "But dont worry, the Dim level gets the same treatment! Its just a wee bit smaller and run by my brother, Latte." He heard about Espresso's adoptive brother, but the first part got him thinking "..What about the Dark level?" "We dont talk about the Dark level.. At least I dont." Espresso sighed as he opened the shop door... And was immideatley pounced by a Venomous Toridae. "Oh! Theres my girl!" Whisp took a surprised step back, getting ready to run. "Its alright! Shes just exited! She wont bite.. As long as you dont threaten her!" |

Kind and caring, very exitable Basically a welcomer to the Low-Tide Cove Loves making coffee and tea for everyoneIts quite easy to assume Espresso is crazy, but he is really just doing his best to be loving of everyone else. He has a Venomous Toridae as his best friend and is the adopted brother of Latte, the greeter of the Dim level. He was initially a Introvert, but quickly overcame the fear of socail anxiety after realizing his love for making drinks for other dragons. |

Its never been a secret that Espresso was never really Latte's brother, but neither was the fact that no one knew were he really came from.
Latte found the young Nocturne in the Scarred Wasteland, without any parents nearby- or anyone at all. It was not uncommon for plague dragons to abandon their hatchlings. "Survival of the fittest" they always said. But it was no motto for a baby dragon that would certainly starve without guidance. So Latte took matters into his own hands and brung the baby dragon home with him.
Soon after, he discovered that the hatchling was being followed by an adolesent Venomus Toridae. He was worried that the Toridae was hunting them, and tried to scare it off. The Toridae wasent leaving, and began to get more agressive.. Untill with a tiny cry, the young nocturne jumped on the Toridae's back. He began to panic and tried to get the hatchling off the Toridae.. Untill he realized that the nocturne was actually hugging the Toridae. After some nocturne translation, it was discovered that the nocturne and Toridae were actually friends, and that the Toridae went after the hatchling becuase she was worried for its safety. The Toridae was a female.
Some dragons were skeptical of bringing the dragon into their care after the Toridae incident, but Latte assured them that there would be no harm in it. Some dragons went seaching for the true parents, but always came home tired and without information. Many others began to joke that Espresso was Latte's brother, and eventually the label stuck.
When Espresso first came, he was shy and reserved, always hiding under Latte's wings. Latte eventually began giving Espresso small pushes to be more socail, but nothing seemed to work. But one day Latte woke up to the smell of coffee, and saw Espresso hurrying around, collecting ingridents to make his little project. Espresso claimed that he found a book about making coffee, and wanted to make some for Latte. He was a bit suspicious of this coffee, but he drank it anyways, not wanting to hurt the hatchlings feelings. It was surprisingly good, certainly not the best, but was exellent in the fact that Espresso was still learning. Latte continued to help Espresso make better coffee and started to make more light pushes for Espresso to make drinks for the other dragons, and eventually helped him set up his own coffee shop.
