Ralask built her life around a vein of gold, carving out a lair to defend it as her Charge. At first, she intended to live alone. She could not, however, seem to dredge up the will to deny shelter to those passing by her cave. Some visitors became return visitors, and visits began to last longer and longer. Eventually, a slapshod community formed in the goldstruck caverns, populated by all sorts of dragons. When the community solidified itself into a bustling clan, Ralask was at its head.

She enjoys taking in young dragons and teaching them the skills of her art. She hunts far and wide for sources of gold that didn’t stem from her precious vein, and then reworks them into beautiful pieces of jewellery, decorations, or weapons. Of the hatchlings she adopts, many leave to find their fortunes elsewhere. Others are exalted to serve in the ranks of the Flamecaller. The remainder choose to stay with Ralask and build and defend their clan together.

Vain and matriarchal with a flair for the dramatic, the now elderly Ralask knows no fear and will scold dragons many times her size into submission. She prefers to let others do the dirty work but will step forward if necessary, griping all the way.
