Biography
The Continual Clan has seen a lot of rebels, outsiders, travelers, and all sorts of renegades, outcasts, and crazies in it's time. Some of them continued on they're way (it's why the clan is named continual, after all) but a decent amount of them have stayed, at least for a temporarily permanent amount of time. All of them, however, have had a place they've been and a place they would like to go; some are more willing to work towards it than others, but all of them have wanted to be in a better place at some point. Amalia is not one of those.
She's a dangerous outsider, but not in the way most are. She'll cut you with glass shards woven from her mind and solidified with her tongue, she'll stab you in the heart with an arrow formed from fake empathy, she'll confuse your mind until you don't know who she is. Amalia is a dangerous outsider, and she will fight tooth and nail to keep it that way.
Amalia's not sure why she decided to stay in this quaint town on the ocean, not when she could go somewhere more solitary. She could go to the Shifting Expanse's Charged Barrens - a place where there's not a lot of civilization, and what little dragons there are prefer to keep to themselves, or the Viridian Labyrinth's Worldedge Wetlands, a swamp populated with outgoing-ly kind dragons - that's if they can find others to be kind to. But, somehow, Amalia's decided to stay in this highly populated, highly friendly area and she doesn't know why.
At least The Continual Clan's members have stopped trying to go to her- she's shown that she's more than willing to kill and maim them in the most creative of ways- but Antiggony, the current leader, keeps trying to be kind to her. He will show up at her cabin at 7 o'clock at night on a Saturday, baring a box of pastries in front of him, and demands for her to enjoy an hour or two with another living being. And he does this every week, every Saturday, without fail. Amalia desperately want's to hate Antiggony for it. She really, truly does - but the cookies and donuts and scones he brings are so good, he never tries to make small talk, and Cat has never tried to claw him. It hurts, in a way. Not being alone, with only Cat's quiet purr.
When he leaves it takes everything in Amalia's body to not throw the box he hands her into his face, to not cuss him out and scream "I can't handle this anymore! Get lost! I don't need some pity party of a dragon to give me charity! I'm fine on my own - I always have been and always will be!"
But every time Antiggony arrives, he arrives with a genuine joyous smile. He looks forward to their meetings; perhaps she does, too.
