Eiress is one of the few dragons that are said to be born under the wing of deity. Those that emerge from their eggshells all alone, and yet manage to survive like fate itself is willing to provide for them. Such dragons are often called to the founding of clans as soon as they reach adulthood. Many dedicate their lives to the service of their Flight. Some abandon leadership of clans in pursuit of other goals. Others don't even believe they are anything but abandoned hatchlings that survived out of sheer luck. Eiress likes to believe the Lightweaver kept hostile creatures at bay when she couldn't fend for herself, made her wander into plentiful lands, and eventually venture into welcoming clans that helped her grow into a powerful Guardian. And as every Guardian she left the safety of companionship in search of her Charge. She was convinced that it would be something big - like a large territory, a magical artifact of great power, or maybe even a whole clan. In her long travels, she met many dragons seeking their own destiny. Wilde was one of those, and the Skydancer became Eiress' closest friend. After a messy turn of events that involved the Spiral Myrth, the Ridgeback Atrox, and the rescue of stolen hatchlings, it was Wilde that convinced Eiress to settle down. Eiress had found a large ruined lair that could be rebuilt to greatness, a few loyal friends, and her charge. And it wasn't the lair, or the clan, or any divine secret. It was a tiny dirty Tundra, all fur and bones, with a gentle heart and a slow wit. In the midst of all troubles and hardships of building a clan, Eiress learned to accept that she had found her charge, and that it was precious even if far less impressive than she expected. To this day, she keeps it a secret shared only among her closest friends that Robin is her charge, for fear that those with ill-intent could seek to harm the young Tundra. Eiress is a fair and gentle Guardian, genuinely interested in hearing the advice of those around her. Still relatively young, she sometimes battles a tendency to recklessness, pride and over-confidence. She has little patience for murderers, thieves, and similarly troublesome dragons. The clan as a whole deeply respects her, and many truly adore her. And one in particular, the Timekeeper Lichen, loves her like no other dragon does.
