He looked down at his feet.
His gaze was drawn to a lone ant.
He started following it across the meadow.
She stopped him.
He snapped back to attention.
"I'm sorry," he said.
She sighed. She couldn't be upset with him after all.
She owed him at least that much, now that their roles were reversed.
He flitted off, chasing after a colorful insect.
As always, she would clean up after him.
Even if he had purchased a hundred magical imperial frills.
