she's a cranky hardass who gets touchy when people mess with her stuff (despite the fact that half of the rift openings are 99.999% her fault, but she claims the 0.001% because she can't admit she's wrong in front of her clan members--other experimental physicists on the other hand can show her wrong up and down sornieth).

she turns into a blubbering goober if anyone starts asking her questions about things she loves (mainly her experiments, the rift, Eel Fry, and tiny little fae). she won't shut up about them if asked. digit won't even ask her anymore. but otherwise she's pretty absorbed in her head with planning and interpreting and doesn't like being interrupted much.

complimenting her looks is the fastest way to get a glare and maybe a hiss (or if she's occupied eating Eel Fry, a blush) because she doesn't think that stuff is important. her experiments, her mind--that's what's important. compliment her on those. her pride probably doesn't need the extra swelling, but it's a fast way to her heart. well that and competence.

she doesn't have a lot of love for children but she still insists on having them (mostly with titan, bc he's the clan's confirmed bachelor and he's sired a lot of the interesting hatchlings). cordelia's pretty sure she only does it to see what happens when babies are born so close to the rift first hand, but Glitch doesn't confirm nor deny this.
