storyteller | autumnclaw dragon Fable is the clan storyteller. She runs a pub gifted by her mate, Lapis and revels in collecting the tales of others and legends of old with the help of her enchanted familiar, Page. She enjoys dramatically retelling the stories at a later date. She is a warm and surprisingly bold dragon who will always eagerly lend a listening ear. Her penchant for tales does not spread to rumors and gossip however, and a story told in confidence remains so, with very few exceptions. Because of this she is considered one of the most reliable dragons of the clan. Her children travel Sornieth, oftentimes joining other clans, and return for short visits to bring her new stories from their travels. H I S T O R Y ~ Fable's story started long ago, when she was born to a family of Spirals in their heavily forested lair. She had wings unable to fly, which left most of her family's lair inaccessible without help. Due to this, much of the time she relied on her siblings and parents to tell her about their adventures and the world outside her nest. Hoping Fable could one day join them in looping through the skies, her family searched in vain for a cure. At last, lost for what to do, they consulted an elder of another clan who specialized in healing. According to the elder, there was nothing to be done about their offspring's flightlessness. But the young Spiral spoke up. Maybe she would never be able to fly, but certainly there would be some way to see more of Sornieth for herself? The elder nodded with a smile, and presented a magical scroll to her. Thus, Fable became a Snapper, with sturdy legs to carry her however far she might will them. There was no turning back. Fable soon set out on a journey and collected stories wherever she went. After one fateful meeting, her life changed directions once again. She met an exciting Wildclaw named Raptor who told her about his home, a strange mountain where the lost seemed to find themselves sooner or later. Her curiosity piqued, Fable joined Raptor on his return home, and shortly they had two Spiral children together (much to their surprise!). A season passed and when their first offspring matured, she and Raptor parted ways. The mountain was beautiful, and home to all sorts of dragons -- Fable felt truly at home. She considered herself done with adventure, and yet a new kind adventure was about to unfold for her... [>>Lapis's story]
