The originator

Once an Ambassador from the Viridian Labyrinth, sent to establish new trade routes, Chatter has now found herself living within the Scarred Wasteland. Deep underground below the Seedscar, lies a prison of her own creation. She had heard the stories of The First Seed, and what transpired within what is now known as The Seedscar because of it. What she hadn't remembered, was the still latent and intense Nature magic still residing in the area.

After some time within the Wasteland, she found herself lost in thought yearning for the lush, green forests and grasses of her beloved homeland. Meanwhile her guard, Valance, a near feral Mirror dragon, carved them out a small den under the surface of the Seedscar sheltering them from a storm passing overhead. Once settled in for the night, she decided to treat herself and Valance to a bit more comfort than the rotting stench of the Wastelands can offer. What she expected to be a small outpouring of her magic, meant to create them some supple grass to rest on instead turned their makeshift burrow into a lush, green, floral den. Her magic rippled through the walls of the burrow as tree saplings began to sprout, the ground beneath them shifted, pushing the walls of the den further, roots ripping through rot and dirt to make room for growth, transforming what once was a small burrow, into a cavern. Pools of fresh spring water, lush bushes of berries, wild herbs, and root crops sprung to life. A supple grass and wildflower carpet covered the cavern floor.

A stunned silence, and worry fell upon them both. As the near violent wave of nature magic seemed to slow, nearly fully grown oak and birch trees towered above them in the pitch black underground forest. What seemed like a blessing, a home away from home, a lush and wonderful oasis within the horrid Scarred Wasteland, quickly became a nightmare. Suddenly, they were a sitting target. What should never be within the Wastelands, suddenly was. Chatter quickly felt her energy being sapped from her. The Oasis demanded never ending expansion as if it had a mind of its own, and now a vessel in which to achieve it. Its lush floors, beautiful flora, clear pools of fresh water, and warm, inviting hot springs commanded her to keep the rot at bay.

Since that day, Chatter has been unable to leave the cavernous walls of The Oasis. It takes all of her strength to hold it at bay, a struggle aided most by Geri, a powerful Plague born Imperial, and devout loyal to the Plaguebringer, who serves to help rot away the further reaches of The Oasis.
