clan leader. she's not around much bc she likes to wander the shifting expanse. she doesn't talk a whole lot but her body language and mannerisms speak loudly (plus, most of the dragons in the clan were hatchlings when she found them in the desert or they wandered in and stayed, and that definitely has an influence.) when she does talk she commands attention which is all well and good for a clan matriarch.

her heart is kind, even behind that icy glare, and she's very prone to taking in dragons and oddities she finds in the shifting expanse--and there are a lot. something about the lightning farms and tempest spire and all that arid desert air means holes in time and space, but cordelia doesn't mind. everyone who's out of place needs a home too.

she still hasn't appointed a clan heir, almost as if she's giving a big middle finger to the shifting expanse and saying 'I'm not going yet'. some dragons think it's going to be her daughter, Digit, until they meet her and realize Digit's just like her mother but worse and would by no means make for a good leader, a fact Cordelia's well aware of.

she hasn't left recently bc so many hatchlings are being born and they're so close to the carrion canyon--the harpies are prone to rising and reeking havoc and cordelia might leave a lot, but there's no way she wants to leave her clan unprotected.

she was a guardian that never found her charge--never felt that pull--but never thought that was a bad thing either. she hatched on her own in the shifting expanse and wandered from clan to clan as a hatchling, then young adult, until the stormcatcher found her. ever efficient, he told her if she was just going to walk everywhere she might as well put herself to use walking along the electrical lines and fix or find whatever ends up on the other side. she found her mate, mrno, this way, but it was more of a passing fancy between one of the stormcatcher's scientists and herself. they started the clan and laid a clutch of 5 eggs. mrno and four of her children disappeared into the rift, but Digit remained.
