~Ashes Seckendorff~
 
The seventh child of the Seckendorff clan's second generation, Ashes is what you think of when you hear the word "dragon". Dark, arrogant, and possessing a serious hoarding problem, she's nonetheless a staunch and powerful protector of her clan.
"You can admire my hoard if you want. But if you touch anything, I'll have your bones."
Ashes' chosen familiar is Corundum, an aurora pangolin. She chose him because he's a rare and beautiful creature, and absolutely not because she thinks pangolins are adorable. Ashes was a street orphan who Delilah came across one day at the nearby trading post. Taking pity on the young urchin, she took her back to the lair, and Ashes has stayed there, watching over and cataloguing their hoard, ever since. Ashes does actually care about her clan a lot, but she won't admit it. If you asked, she'd say she only considers two people worthy of her time, aside from Delilah and Kobalt. One is her mate, Myst, for his intelligence and skill, and the other is Firmament, because of her stories and souvenirs. (A purchase from Skarmory. Impressive stuff, man, thanks! No fun fact here, he picked her name. But it is a very good name.) |
