Jira is a kindly dragon and has a certain aura of calm despite her large size. Those qualities, along with her warmth and wisdom, are the reasons she was chosen as the Nursery Minder. While many dragons would be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of hatchlings often found in the WolfHouse, Jira is a steady rock amongst the storms of hyper youngsters. She had been asked to become an Alpha many times, but has never accepted. Jira claims her place isn't as a leader, but as a teacher.

When it comes to combat, she will avoid claw-to-claw fighting until one of her charges is endangered. However, Jira is not useless of the battlefield. She is skilled with her magical abilities and can hold her own as well as any trained warrior. This comes in handy on the rare occasions when unsavory creatures from the Basements come searching for easy victims.
