"Maman Angeline's memory leaves her most days, but sometimes, when the taste of one of her old recipes hits her tongue, something sparks and she remembers... even if only for a few moments. Warly promised himself he would always be there for the times she shined through the clouds, and cooks her his favorite dishes from childhood each night in hopes of getting the chance to visit with dear old maman."
Warly left a promising career as a sous chef in Paris to return home and care for his aging mother Angeline, whose memory had begun to deteriorate. His world soon revolved around telling her stories about her life, playing her favorite music, cooking the recipes she had taught him when he was young... all in the hopes of catching that spark of recognition in her eyes. As time went on and Angeline's moments of clarity became fewer and farther in-between, Warly became more desperate, willing to try anything to bring back his beloved Maman... That was when he first started hearing the voice on the radio.

Maxwell (He's not so bad, once you trip away his layers. He has a cold, crunchy exterior hiding a misguided soul within.)

Wagstaff (Impressive inventions, monsieur. There are many opportunities for learning from this genius.)

Walter (He tells many monster stories, yes. I'm sure he'll have plenty to share from here when we all get out.)

Wanda (Well, she certainly knows how to make the most of her time. I'm always looking out for her, perhaps the same way she looks out for me?)

Webber (He enjoys my treats, the petit monsieur. He even eats the more inedible meat. It's good to not be wasteful.)

Wendy (Followed by Mademoiselle Abagail, as well. Her ingredients are not... traditional, but whatever works for her sister.)

Wes (He has a wonderful act with that furry friend of ours. I love seeing their rehearsals!)

Wickerbottom (I'll help her if she ever needs it. She does just fine on her own, but I don't want to lose anyone else.)

Wigfrid (I fear her, to be frank. Her passions roar with such powerful energy. I respect her greatly, but I do not want to be on the end of her spear!)

Willow (She'd do better making contained fires. Ah, well, I suppose it's in her nature.)

Wilson (He could learn a thing or two from me, I feel. His meals have effort, but there are little tweaks I think he can make.)

Winona (I admire her sense of duty. In a way, we are similar, but how we use that sense makes us quite different.)

Wolfgang (I think out of everyone, he enjoys my meals the most. It amazes me how fast he gulfs them down, and how much he eats!)

Woodie (The strangest of all my friends. He eats wood sometimes. Wood! That simply won't do.)

Wormwood (What a kind little guy! Takes good care of so many ingredients.)

Wortox (He's a trickster. But he's also fun. His pranks go too far sometimes, but when they don't cross that line, he's hilarious.)

Wurt (A very nice and curious creature. I wonder if the merms have any recipes of their own.)

WX-78 (My metal friend! The things they say are vile, but the things they do are quite the opposite. Actions are louder then words, they say.)
