Origin of The Permababy

Long, long ago when dragons were at the apex of the food chain. There were some people whose lives had been rescued by dragons and wished to protect them when they saw fools kill the parents, plunder the hoards and take eggs.

A sorceress who befriended one and raised it was no bigger than the palm of her hand, upon finding the clutch they said. " We are rare enough among our kind! That one has no one."
"Why?"
"A curse was laid on our kind. These are the result."
She soon learned other clutches were turning out their miniature offspring who retained a purity of eye and never grew to bigger than pocket size.
So the human collected all the dragons then began to teach manners and paired them up to humans wanted a dragon. These little ones were perfect!
