BACKSTORY
Despite all evidence to the contrary, Barbara insists that she's not from Sornieth. Her memories of the past are fuzzy, though, and this frustrates her to no end. The first thing she can clearly remember is being woken up in the Starwood Strand by some dragons from Clan Acamar. Alongside her were a pair of glasses and a Sornieth ID (#68115732). That was it.

It took time for Barbara to be moved from the healer's building because of constant nightmares and her rejection of reality. During her stay there, she ended up drawing what she could remember on scraps of parchment. In her 'old world', there were (relatively hairless) bipedal monkeys. Barbara had been one of them. There were metal monsters moving down smooth stone streets, and thin magic boxes you could do lots with. She'd had two cats, one deceased and one alive.

But that was all she could remember.

Barbara joined the clan because she had nowhere else to go. Her "parents" had gone on to serve the deities long ago, and she had no other "family" here. Feeling lost, she struggled to adjust to Sornieth. Barbara mostly just keeps to herself now; most other dragons believe her to be delusional or attention-seeking. She'll gladly spend hours tending to the clan's records just to be alone.
