Not familiar with the work or character, but love the juxtaposition between the almost jokey old man whisker apparel and total mundanity and how wreathed in darkness he is. I don't know whether that darkness is literal or metaphorical, but I'll keep my distance nonetheless.

I've been on a Magnus Archives kick recently, so I'll go with Peter Lukas here! He's a great character. I, too, want to go be a hermit captaining a boat.
I absolutely adore this fandragon! The colors and breed are a perfect choice, and his outfit is a great mix of spookiness and sailor. Very clever(and hilarious) choice to put him in his own tab, too!
