A young barbarian from the town of Ironfeld in the Elkhorn mountain range who is currently dating Airic the cleric. Tösk started off as an antagonist to the party, having fallen in with Shaun Benesch. Due to the latter's growing hatred of the group, and his own internal demons, Tösk would always be slightly hostile to them. Eventually however as Shaun's true colors started to show and he eventually disappeared with Edith, Tösk realized how horrible he had been and how his actions were unacceptable.

He apologized to the party, as did the rest of Shaun's original crew, and slowly began to form a bond with them. Tösk showed himself to be a thoughtful and kind individual who acknowledged his faults and worked to correct them.

His childhood in the Elkhorn mountains started off alright...but eventually took a turn for the worst.

Tösk's father and younger brother both died during a hunting excursion when against his father's judgment Tösk attacked an Owlbear (Old Slapjack). Enraged the owlbear pushed them to the edge of a cliff. Tying off a rope the father and brother started climbing down, while Tösk bought them time, before going over the edge himself. The owlbear didn't give up and the rope began to fray. Unable to hold all of them, the father cut the rope, saving Tösk who was forced to watch his father and younger brother fall to their deaths on the rocks below.

This led to Tösk being alienated from his mother, who blamed him for her husband and son's death, and eventually pushed him to enroll in Basilwicks. Before this happened however he grew closer to his "Nono" Noemma Theirfelder, his paternal grandmother. He also trained with Brasidas Lakonian, a retired centaur soldier who had once been in the armor with Aecik's Kendarin the headmaster at Basilwick's. The centaur and his wife Cassandra eventually saw Tösk as their own son.

Upon returning to the town of Ironfeld during his second year's summer break, Tösk and Airic managed to confront the Owlbear that had killed his family along with Noema, Brasidas, and a visiting druid girl named Lani. It had been encroaching on the village and slaughtering livestock, though the group found that this had been due to a roving band of gnolls chasing it out of it's former territory. Despite having the chance to kill Old Flapjack, Tösk instead tied a length of rope around it's neck and told it to remember how he had shown mercy where it had not.

After fighting off the gnolls that were now attacking Ironfeld, Tösk brokered a tentative peace with his mother. The rest of his summer break was spent amicably with Airic and his family.
