A tiny wanderer, lost in the Abiding Boneyard, the first to be found almost as soon as the clan had moved into the dangerous wasteland and the youngest ever at barely an hour since she left the egg. Any longer and she might have been snatched up by hungry traders or greedy predators, or succumbed to one of the land's varied infections, or stumbled upon the Wyrmwound itself and fallen right inside its gaping maw. As it was, she was shivering with a slight fever and terrified into silence when they found her curled up for shelter behind a pile of calcified bones. It took Sora days to recover her strength, and longer still to regain enough confidence to speak.

During her period of silence, she watched the other dragons around her with a growing curiosity. Sora was a mimic by nature and was soon able to imitate the movements of Fae crests with her own tiny fins; when her voice returned, she easily sang along to the melodic tones of the Coatl mother tongue. Her skill at translating between the two breeds, and her quick study of every new dialect that passes through the inn, has made her invaluable as the clan's chief translator.

Saya fell in love with the lost little one instantly. The feeling is mutual. Even before she fully recovered, Sora could invariably be found trotting behind her new mother everywhere the clan leader went; as the two happen to be nearly identical in color and genes, all who saw them assumed the two to be related by blood. And once Sora impulse-bought a new gene for her wings, they assume she is Jae's as well.

Sora has not yet found her Charge. She's not too worried about it, though. She has her home and her family -- she figures her luck will bring her whatever else she might require. So far, luck hasn't done her too shabby of a job.
