Description:

I was called in today for an emergency in one of our familiar boarding dens about this strange dragon trying to eat our outdoor familiars. They had informed me that the guards were still attempting to fully secure the dragon and reason with them as I was heading to the scene. When I got there I saw a rather shiny Wildclaw wrestling two fully armored guards like an absolute animal. I was just in time to see them sedate the creature enough to tie it up with our strongest ropes and even a few of the familiar halters and leads for extra reinforcement. I had never seen a dragon act so strangely before. They want me to keep an eye on it, for it seems they aren't aware of the draconic language. It's definitely not deaf, but they believe that these animalistic behaviors suggest they weren't raised by dragons either. I am going to put it in one of the Roc cages and try to figure out what I am supposed to do with it. This is will be the first documentation of many dedicated to figuring out this dragon's deal. Oh, did I mention the thing can change the colors of its scales? The guards said when they first saw the dragon sneak in, it was a more orangish brown color that matched the environment before it turned to its current color during the fight. I will be keeping an eye on this, for I won't believe it to be anything more than a trick of the light until I see it happen myself.

Description:

It's been three days since I was summoned to the familiar boarding to capture the wild claw tearing into our familiar's housing, and since then I have struggled to keep this creature contained in its cage. This beast of a dragon has since then bent and snapped the bars of three different cages, and doesn't seem to have the ability or the intention to sleep until it is freed. I am concerned that the creature will hurt others and itself in the process of trying to set itself free, and so I have requested the dungeon guards lend me some spare restraints to keep this beast from getting out. Unfortunately they aren't willing to do it themselves, so I will have to do it on my own it seems. Hold on, the thing just went still. I'm going to have a look and see if I can restrain them now.

A splattering of red blood is stained into the paper just below the paragraph.

As you can see from the blood stain, it didn't go so well. I did manage to lock up its legs with the boots. All that's left is the rest of it. It turns out the creature was waiting for me to walk into the cage. I don't know if it's just a light sleeper and I woke it up or if it was clever enough to do such a nasty trick, but it tricked me into getting close enough to bite my wing. You would think that me being more than twice its size would help, but the thing could crawl straight up my scales even with only one leg free. I won't be flying for a while until I can patch up the hole, don't want any tears mid-flight. I will have Camomealtea deal with the creature until I can get the bleeding to stop. The creature is too alert to my intentions at the moment to do much more, even though I have its legs pinned.

Description:

I have been called in by my colleague, Sparrowfern, to deal with our new pet. I named the creature right then and there on the spot, LavenderShadows. I had noticed the creature's ability before that it could blend in with its surroundings using its scales. I am unsure how they manage to do it, but I thought the name fits something that can change shapes and colors, but remains a lavender hue no matter what it is. I somehow feel like I can relate to the creature. We aren't too different as of yet.

I noticed the creature seemed to hate the feeling of iron. It had managed to pull in a towel from the wall behind it to use it as a bed, and let nothing else touch the metal of the cage. The creature is looking at me now, and it doesn't like it when I approach with the metal helmet on. I took off the helmet and the creature seemed to calm a bit. I tried talking to it, and it seemed to relax a bit. I took this opportunity to get some of the wraps from the training grounds (I washed them off of course) and approached the creature with those instead. I was able to wrap it with them, as long as I was talking to it, and I was able to secure it with those instead. Once everything was wrapped, I then put on the gauntlets and the metal collar. It didn't seem to mind. So I went to grab some other materials, and using wing guards and a mask, I was able to restrain the wings and create a muzzle. I then put wraps under the boots so it would be more comfortable. Sparrowfern is normally good about reading animals and knowing to be more gentle with them, but this is ridiculous. The poor creature got chafed by the metal. I think training the creature will be a good investment of my time, so I will get to it straight away in the morning. I'll relay my notes with Sparrowfern and we can start tomorrow.

Description:

I have been training Lavender for a while now and I believe to have bonded somewhat with her. I've been training her to come whenever I call her and to attack whatever I want her to attack. The guild has issued for her training to continue beyond my personal experiments and to weaponize the subject. They have assigned me to be her personal instructor. I take great pride in the fact that I have been enabled to continue training her as such. I am hoping to be able to teach Lavender to respond to bird call commands so now anyone out of view can ask her to do what I am training her to do in order to allow the elites themselves to utilize her abilities. So far she is learning quickly.
Despite being a quick learner, I do not think I'll be able to speak like any normal dragon. I believe she was raised in the wild, and cannot understand our language even if we tried to teach her. Teaching her would negatively impact her training purposes, and thus I will not further attempt to teach her the alphabet. I can, however, get her to understand word commands like "search", "kill", "track", and most importantly "come". Commanding her to "stay" is a work in progress, for she doesn't want to sit in the same spot for very long unless I have a leash attached to her collar and tied somewhere or have someone hold it (granted that she tolerates them). I will continue talking to her though, because she seems to have some sort of understanding of what I am telling her, but not the individual words. I think such interaction will help improve her understanding of others and enable her to bond with more members of the guild, make her more social, and overall more cooperative. It works on the familiars, so it must work on her as well. I will continue to keep track of her training in my personal notes and send what is necessary to the head board so they can keep up with her progress.

Restrained Shadows- Lavender

Animal In Me by Solence

Quiet, calculative, wicked smart, dangerous, primitive & raptor-like behaviors. If they had movies, they would be known as the Indo-raptor for their wild yet obedient demeanor and personality. Quiet and only willing to listen to those who provide them with what they want, only kind to those they are familiar with. Kind as in they won't shred your face off.

Lavender shadows is seen as a secret weapon almost in the fact that her seemingly shiny scales are able to match almost any shadow. How this is managed is unknown, but they are known to be one of the assassins with the most kills in the Valkyries guild. They do not joke around, but have a gruesome sense of humor. Baiting people in with their seemingly inexperienced and innocent first impression then absolutely shredding their opposers, giving no hint as to when they will strike, and keeping all of their weapons under the radar until the perfect moment arrives to strike out with them. Pretending to be vulnerable and weak does them a good service, especially when those trying to take a hold of them forget one of the most vital weapons when binding another. The guild has found that muzzles and chains are not the way to go, but rather cloth and fabric to make it feel more like a hug then a vice like grip, hence why they have that rogue's mask on their face most of the time.
(there is actually a legend about how this fearsome (correction, dragon minding their own business and protecting their territory) would fight against restraints, but would go wherever they wanted it to go once they started using silk. It even stayed while they killed it, which was awful in my opinion. Like jeez. Give the scaly bois a break.)
