Biography
Invited to the Kauri clan for a celebration, you have a chance to unwind from your travels. You can't help but notice a Coatl with a telescope high in the tallest tree of the clan's area. Soon, your curiosity gets the better of you and you climb the tree to meet up with the strange Coatl, and maybe get to know him a little.
"Greetings! Aren't you going to join in the celebration with the rest of your clan?"
The Coatl looks at you for a moment before he looks back up at the starry sky.
You glance up, trying to see what exactly interests him so much. No luck. But looking at the telescope finally gives you a hint. "Are you interested in what's beyond our planet?"
The Coatl turns back at you and nods.
Seeing a positive response, you smile. "I've taken some interest in the stars myself. I use them to navigate and find my way to many places. I sometimes even wonder if any of those stars have lifeforms we can interact with on friendly levels."
A grin from behind the Coatl's starward-facing telescope is the only response you receive. You see him using magic to levitate some of the parchment and ink he brought with him to scribble down his findings.
It's clear by his control over magic that he's taken interest in the arcane as well.
"So you do magic? I've seen many different types over my travels. It's as vast as those stars, wouldn't you say?"
You watch as he nods again with a smile.
As you lean back on the branch you've been roosting on, you gave him a question that you secretly hope will make the Coatl talk. "So who do you get along with the most?"
The Coatl gives you his telescope and uses his magic to aim it at something. You recognize the male Skydancer in the telescope's view as Kairne. "A fellow mage...I see. And who annoys you the most?"
The telescope is shifted to another location and you peer through it. It was Limey, the strangely talkative tundra you met for a short minute. You couldn't get a word in edgewise with her around. "I guess you just don't like to talk and she collides with your personality, huh?"
The coatl nods again; you hit the nail on the head. You decide to avoid annoying him as you pass back his telescope. "Even if you never said a word, I enjoyed this moment with you, friend. I'll be joining the others in the celebration."
As you started climbing down the tree, you hear a voice say one word.
You glance up at the smiling coatl, realizing that it was his voice. Was that his name? You take it as a personal victory; you got Castamere to say something.
