Biography
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Though the Library of Virtue may not be as grand as Eclipse Hall, it’s most certainly not a boring place.
The room you’ve entered is oddly shaped, rounded in some spots yet sharp in others, and with quite the interesting layout. Floor to ceiling bookshelves cover the walls, filled with thousands of titles of all sizes, and the only wall not covered in books is the large window to your right behind a beige sofa and comfy armchairs, lined by stained glass in a range of colors that remind you of book pages. An old clock ticks softly on the wall. A couple of seating areas and small coffee tables are placed around the plush, open carpet with lamps and candles, giving off a soft glow, and a small chandelier hangs from the ceiling, bouncing light everywhere. Near the door, a clearly aged but intricate wooden ladder leans against a shelf and by a plaque that reads “NO FLYING”.
Some number of feet from your left, you notice a white skydancer (the only dragon here as of now) sitting behind a cherrywood desk, and two white marble spiral staircases on either side. To what, you can’t say. The desk is somewhat simple, except for the imprinted gold crest depicting two swans rearing at a sun. You see a small desk plate reading “Stymph: Librarian” on top, and as you step closer, you notice a few other items on the desk: two egg-shaped lamps on either end, something that looks to be a record log on the right-hand side, a white swan feather quill, a bottle of deep black ink, a small crystal swan paperweight on the left, and a large, thick, dull emerald green book that the dragon looks to be reading.
You decide to see if the library has any information about the clan, but since you surely won’t be able to find any information just from looking at the shelves, you speak up and ask the librarian.
“Hi, do you have any books about Jubilee Court?” you whisper.
Stymph doesn’t give an audible response, but they nod, and pull out a stack of thin books and a few pamphlets from a drawer. They push them across the desk along with turning the log and quill towards you, and once you put down your name, the quiet librarian fills the rest out. You thank them and exit holding your new books, ready to explore more of Jubilee Court.
