Adiela has seen it all. From the creation of the clan, to the birth of its most recent hatchlings, she’s been around to witness everything. This pearlcatcher is the oldest dragon in the clan by far. Not too old to be active, however. Adiela’s joints and bones may not move as smoothly, or work as quickly as they once did, but she still gets around just fine. She still manages to run her shop too – easily convincing people to purchase from her. It helps that she sells at an honest price. Adiela will even help dragons acquire special items for a small commission, and her clanmates really seem to appreciate that. Fortunately, age brings wisdom along with wrinkles and aches. It also hasn’t done anything to dampen Adiela’s excellent sense of humor. She’s always loved to make other people laugh, and especially enjoys really terrible puns. There’s nothing better than being able to giggle at a terrible pun. Of course, Adiela’s daughter doesn’t always agree. She loves her mother, but doesn’t quite share her sense of humor. Adiela has always enjoyed teasing poor Aleeya with silly jokes and bad puns. Secretly, Adiela knows Aleeya actually enjoys them despite all the protesting and complaining she does. Adiela might like using ridiculous jokes to embarrass her daughter, but only because they’re sure to make Aleeya smile in the end. Along with her daughter, Adiela shares a special relationship with her mate Makkav. In many ways, she’s his muse, his inspiration. Adie is one of the reasons her mate continues to create beautiful music. He also doesn’t seem to mind her terrible puns or bad jokes too much, so they’re pretty much a perfect pair. Anyone who enjoys her sense of humor is okay in Adiela’s book.
