Catalyze spends much of her time in her subterranean lair, a dank dripping cave illuminated only by the flashing lights and sizzling reactions taking place under her watchful eye. Stone papers scrawled full of notes litter the floor among empty beakers of all shapes and sizes. Unlike clan alchemist Cyla, whose work focuses on magic and transmutation, a scientist like Catalyze seeks to prove her theories and record experiments over many levels of testing.

A single drop of a green pipette into a beaker filled with a bubbling blue liquid causes the contents to turn white for a split second before the beaker explodes - throwing Catalyze into the wall as the impact shakes sediment free from the stalactites above. Wholly unaffected, the Bogsneak rises to her feet and shakes the dust off her body. "Eureka!" she cries, pulling her goggles to her forehead and leaping forth to etch at her notepad.


While others may give her the moniker "mad scientist," Catalyze prefers to be described as she is - an independent researcher with a unique set of ethics!
