Haven's premier virologist
An unusual fellow rumored to have lived around the Wyrmwound before setting up shop in Haven, Bisque has dedicated his life to studying the various diseases produced within the miasma of Plague. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his work, though even his closest colleagues can only guess at where he learned such things.
Bisque's current research focuses upon a deadly virus endemic to Haven that, if contracted by a hatchling who manages to survive, causes their growth to be permanently affected. He has discovered that adult dragons seem to be asymptomatic if they contract the virus, and thus has pushed for and succeeded in enforcing strict hygiene protocols around nurseries and nesting grounds in Haven to hopefully prevent more deaths. He works closely with the few dragons who have survived the disease to discover a way to minimize the virus' effects upon a hatchling or, hopefully, find a cure.
Relationships
Bisque is not one for small talk and actively avoids social chatter unless strictly necessary. If one took the effort to piece together what little of his past he has shared, they would eventually correctly assume that he lost his pack over the grief of their hatchlings dying of the same disease he now studies. Despite keeping to himself, Bisque is not an unkind dragon, and much of his prickliness comes from his feeling stifled at staying in one location so long.

Juniper is one of the rare dragons Bisque will always make time for. Maybe he has a crush on the apothecary--he'll never tell! Juniper's approach to healing and medicine is far different than Bisque's, but they both agree on the importance of their work and thus tend to collaborate far more often than they squabble. Bisque is sometimes overwhelmed by Juniper's exuberance, but has grown to appreciate the times the Spiral comes blustering into his lab to discuss whatever crosses his mind at that particular moment.
