Leafy is an oddball. All she remembers from her first years of life is living in the woods and eating any edible plants or bugs she could find. As she grew up in the woods she became a master of evading predators and surviving in the wilderness. Not everything wanted to eat her, though. It was near afternoon when young teen Leafy encountered a herd of deer. It took a while before they trusted her but she was soon part of their herd. Leafy enjoyed having company for once and thought the fawns were super cute, she also liked not having to be on edge all the time. One day the herd set off to a different meadow and Leafy noticed a weirdly shaped hill. She flew over to it to find it was a trash heap but even odder than that dragons were living in it! Leafy hadn't seen another dragon and something tugged at her memory. Leafy quickly flew away when she was yelled at. The next week she couldn't stop thinking about the dragons. When the herd visited the meadow again Leafy set off to see the dragons but was ambushed by one of the guards. Her name was Jelly and after a talk, she decided Leafy wasn't much of a threat. When Leafy left once again to return to her herd they were frightened by her more 'dragony' smell. The buck forced her away and she flew back to the trash heap. Jelly lead her inside and she was granted permission to live in Umbrella Castle. Since Leafy grew up in the woods she decided to become Umbrella Castles first scavenger. She brings back medicinal plants, food, and trinkets (aka someone else trash) back from her expeditions. Sometimes a deer herd will visit the meadow near Umbrella Castle. Leafy doesn't hate them for forcing her out of the herd, she thanks them instead for protecting her.
