HATCHED MULTIGAZE
From Karanja's lair, this boy was very expensive HOWEVER this Subnautica Mod is just too good not to make a fandragon out of!! Given Veined 17/03/21.
The concept art was commissioned by Anth from Tapwing, and the modders took inspiration from there. There are 3 variants: Baby, Juvenile and Adult.
UPDATE 29/04/2022: Found the Wiki page! This model looks a lot more like the adult now to be fair. I'll add what info I can to this bio but it's still W.I.P. development wise.

Due to its enormous size, it can only be found in the Dead Zone abyss. It has transparent Black scales with a white luminescence glow around the body which surrounds its visible guts and bones. Running down the body of the adult are bioluminescence orbs that glow. It also has 12 pairs of fins jetting out from both sides of its body. On its head are six orange eyes. Behind the head are six tentacles used for propulsion with the tips of the tenacles having sharp barbs which might be used for stabbing any prey nearby. Its tentacles also have orbs that emit the same glow like that on its body. Its mouth is filled with razor-sharp teeth which can do devastating blows to a Cyclops and fatal damage to other leviathans. The Gargantuan Leviathan juvenile is several times smaller than the adult at 750 meters long. It has a solid dark grey color scheme. Climate Manipulation: The gargantuan leviathan can change the weather and ocean currents by swaying its tendrils and rotating its body.
Regeneration: The gargantuan leviathan can regenerate its wounds within a matter of seconds. This is partially because of its high metabolism.
Near-invulnerability: The Gargantuan Leviathan is immune to most conventional attacks, thanks to its sheer size and resilient hide.
Bio-electrical nature: It has several bio-electrical organs along its body that allow it generate electricity. Generated electricity can vary from small, but harmful zaps to powerful electromagnetic pulses.
Telepathy: Much like the Sea Emperor, they seems to communicate telepathically. However, they are far more provocative than the Sea Emperor.
Powerful bite force: Its bite force is 706556.61412 psi. The strongest material it can destroy is Limpet Patella Vulgata, AKA Limpet Teeth, which is the 8th strongest material and the strongest biological material. Its bite-force is 17 times stronger than that of the Megalodon, which had a bite of 40,000 psi.
Enormous speed: Its top speed is around 80 miles per hour.
Enhanced Agility: It as able to swim and turn rather quickly by whipping the water.
Enhanced Endurance: It can tolerate severe amount of pressure, be it the depths of the ocean or oncoming attackers.
Enhanced Stamina: The gargantuan leviathan possesses a near limitless amount of stamina and the creature is never really shown getting tired or exhausted after swimming for long durations of time.
Enhanced strength: Records seem to suggest that it can drag prey that are roughly around its size or more. Anything smaller will crushed almost instantly.
Enhanced combat: With all that has been mentioned above, the gargantuan leviathan can overpower nearly any other creature with ease.
Energy drain: The gargantuan leviathan can drain power from vehicles and use that power as energy for its own body.
Shockwave roar: The gargantuan leviathans roar is extremely loud and causes a concussive hydrosonic wave which can inflict damage and force things back up to 150 meters.
TRIVIA:
- The Gargantuan Leviathan's model, textures, and scale has been tweaked and redone countless times. As of now, no more changes to the model should be expected.
- This is one of the few leviathan species that will have a full life cycle known. The first is the Ghost Leviathan.
- The Gargantuan Leviathan is likely powerful enough to destroy all life on the Crater. Luckily, it has other methods of obtaining energy.
- Much like the Ghost Leviathans and Void Chelicerates, it does not tolerate any creature entering its territory.

SKELETON INFORMATION

IN LIFE: When this creature still roamed the planet, the sheer size of its body would have prevented it from living within the Crater. The size of the creature would have restricted it to live entirely in the Crater Edge tens of kilometers away and probably even hundreds as an adult or even as a juvenile. As little is known of life outside of the crater, it is not clear what it could have preyed on or if the prey species still exists: the most likely current known species that reside within the preys' caliber today would be Reefback Leviathans, Adult Ghost Leviathans, Sea Dragon Leviathans, Sea Emperor Leviathans possibly even the Ancient Skeleton. They were likely very long-lived with a low reproductive rate, as a large population of these creatures would very quickly outpace the ability of prey species to repopulate. The reptilian skull may suggest distant relation/common ancestor to the Sea Dragon and, by extension the Sea Emperor, though these similarities may be purely superficial. It is also possible that rather than the rib cage having toppled over into an upside-down state, the rib cage is in fact the correct way up and this creature had a similar skeletal structure to the Sea Dragon, specifically sharing its inverted ribcage. |
The skeleton is enormous. The skull by itself is just under 100 meters in length, almost as long as the entire body of a Sea Dragon Leviathan. The two lower front teeth measure at 11.4 meters in height and the two upper teeth at 10.3 meters. The largest of the structures resembling eye sockets measure 9.7 metres in diameter.
The skeleton that remains measures at 402 meters in length, and with the PDA estimating that it is only one third of the complete specimen, the creature would have measured between 1,100 and 1,500 meters long. Due to this, it has lived far out from the Crater Edge, as there is absolutely no possible way that it lived within the Crater.

The fossilized remains of an extinct super predator. Its sheer size would have prohibited it from entering such an enclosed space, suggesting the geography of the planet has shifted around it over time. A true apex predator.
