The youngest of three siblings, and undoubtable the most unhinged. While he and their sister were always up to their weird little experiments (Igor usually being their little test subject), Vaux was always a little more... daring. He wanted to see just how far he could push the boundaries of science. Something that began to make his siblings worry for him, as his tests became more and more deranged.

Because of this, he would eventually split from the two. Deciding to mark his own path, one where he would be free of judgement... So, you can guess how that landed him here.

Rottoway accepted him in with open wings, hoping to take him on as a clan medic. Something they were desperately missing at the time. And while, yes, he knows how to stitch a wound or reset a broken bone, it became apparent very quickly that he wasn't really in the medical profession. Nowadays, he leaves medical care to his assistant.

Dr. Vaux has had his claws involved with the creation and/or mutation of most of Rottoway's residents at some point. His crowning achievement, his little elemental abomination. And while he's not really in charge of medical care anymore, he still serves as Brimstone's personal doctor, as her care require much more than basic training, given her unstable magic.
