Marlon Mage's Apprentice Introvert | Private | Sweet Marlon often looks at his life and wonders what they heck happened. Considering that he is a socially withdrawn magic user whose idea of home decor is skull vases and alchemical circles scribbled on the walls, he knows that he is very lucky to have someone who loves (and is loved by) him like he does. Marlon often struggles to verbalize how much Bennet means to him, especially as she helps support his dreams. There is nothing Marlon loves more than entwining with her on their coach after a long day and listening to her go on about the variety of customers she serves in her job as a barista. He likes to whisper spells against her skin and pull flowers out of thin air to tuck behind her ears and he just feels so utterly soft around her that it's disgraceful. Regardless, Marlon works hard practicing his magic, even if he only has an audience of one clapping and cheering whenever he gets something right. And hey, if Marlon is drawn to the flashy spells that make blue fireworks and glittering explosions purely because he knows Bennet will love them... that's just fine by him. |

Bennet is the extrovert to Marlon's introvert, but every day he's thankful that she chose him to drag out on the town. She helps him have the confidence to go out and have fun, to try all the ice cream flavors before ordering and to fall down attempting to roller skate. Most of the things they do together Marlon would never do by himself, but that's the point. She opens doors for him and Marlon wants to give her the world if she would only let him. Their friends have described them as 'ideal' and also 'sickening.' |
