T H E M E:

While Callister is one of the more volatile members of the Silent Crow's security department, he is also well-respected at the outpost and seldom faces Celestus's wrath. Callister is a Shadow dragon through and through and although he isn't particularly close to either of the founders, his loyalty to them is never questioned. He is a true devotee of the Shadowbinder: tough and cunning, playful -- but with a necessary brutality to him. This edge of viciousness has served him well in his days at the Silent Crow. Callister isn't the most disciplined in battle, but this makes him dangerously unpredictable to the point of being downright nasty in a fight. His magic is fast and loose and you never know what trick he'll throw at you next.

Callister's area of expertise is classic Shadow magic. There are elements of the darkness and the occult, yes, but it isn't proper necromancy, nor does Callister want it to be. He focuses on finding new uses for Shadow magic, new ways to attack. His excessive eyes are all functional and make him nearly impossible to sneak up on. It's no wonder why he took so naturally to security work -- he's practically built for it.

Despite all of this, Callister is surprisingly unintimidating in casual settings. He's a formidable opponent in battle, but a polite and friendly conversationalist when he's off duty. He enjoys games of all kinds and can often be found sparring with Dusk and Bennett or entertaining the ambassadors with cards. He's a decent liar, but a better entertainer. Amethyst is fond of saying that Callister might have made a good addition to her circus in another life.
