Verbatim
"Best watch yourself around here..."

A descendant of the Gatekeeper herself, Verbatim holds their status over everyone, terrifyingly scary when they want to be, this 'nocturne' really just seems to be a mess of energies condensed in to one form. Both Xavi and Skink seem to shrink away from this creature, and Spirit's response to them seems to be to rear up and hiss. Verbatim seems to hold a power over the rest of the terrifying beasts that have made their home in this clan, only Catastrophe holding her ground over this creature.

Verbatim has powers similar to Xavi: visual distortion. Their powers are more like watching everything around them blipping in and out of existence, driving dragons to madness if they stare for too long. They seem to have a firmer mind control power than Xavi, but a weaker one than Skink, Skink having been able to invoke a trance on Verbatim long enough for the Fae to scramble away screaming for Cata.

Despite the other creatures in the clan fearing them, Verbatim is actually quite kind to the mortals of the clan, in a sort of morbid and violent way. They're way too overzealous when hunting, often offering the skulls of their prey to whatever clan member has their favor that week. No one seems to know why the monsters of the clan fear this nocturne so much, but it's safe to assume it has to do with The Gatekeeper.
