Biography

Calibrate the wings... Not too tight on that side, nono... And finally! ACTIVATE!

Waking up- it seems to be such a forgettable task in a living creature's life, forgotten about so commonly. But in the case of the many automatons of the Golem Workshop with their steel-trap minds, the first moment where their systems or magic came online and gave them life is unforgettable. The opening of metallic eyes and soft whirring of the cooling pumps behind the eye's sensors was usually the first sensation, followed by the the engaging of limbs and pistons for movements, fine tuning the mobility, and on and on...

For the newest addition to the halls of mechanics and mechanicals, this sensation came with the full range of joy and some confusion, being new to this world. Luckily, he wasn't a robotic hatching left abandoned though! In front of his eyes as everything turned on smoothly was his... father? creator? Friend! A bored and lonely Clatterclog Engineer, who introduced himself with a rumbling voice as Circuit. Trip was both the solution to his isolation and his masterwork- a fully functional dragon replica, made from complete machine!

To make Trip function properly, excessive amounts of coolant and lubricant was needed for the wing feather servos and high-quality sensors. As such, the entire underside of Trip is a tank for the banana-colored multipurpose fluid, essentially to his life. The blood of a robot, Circuit explained, and not easily replaced if lost. It was unlikely for any leaks to spring due to the reinforced glass that contained it.

So- Circuit and Trip, friends forged from iron and copper, free in the workshop to get up to all sorts of antics! From inventing small animatronics to joyride flights through the halls, the two got along as perfectly as Trip was programmed to be. Many a time, the native robots of the workshop were startled by Trip, Circuit on his back, swooping down with a cackle and silly grin, thinking him to be a real dragon at first! Yes, his draconic appearance did often caused dislike to be pointed towards the duo... It was just a little to similar to all of their enemies for comfort.

Eventually, the subtle hostility grew to be too much to stick around. If Trip was seen so strongly as a dragon- why shouldn't they see how the other side of life, the draconic side, would take the two of them? Circuit bolted himself down to Trip's back and double-checked all their functions before setting off on the flight of a lifetime, over who knows how much of Sonerith before coming across Gala Rain by complete chance. Curious about the landscape, they set down among the dragons already living there and became fast friends with the living locals. The dragons have never minded the robotic nature of Circuit and Trip, accepting them as one of their own; and life has been happy ever since!
