Aurelius's egg was found by the clan's gatherers one night during the Night of the Nocturne, no parents in sight. Nobody really intended for his egg to hatch, but the hatchling had other plans. So the clan decided to adopt him. He was a tricky hatchling, running around pranking others by hiding their belongings, especially if they were shiny. Despite his antics, many members of the clan grew fond of him.

As he grew, the clan found his knack for hiding things well came in handy when they needed to keep something safe. Eventually he was appointed clan treasurer, although he mostly hides treasure he's given so the clan has something in case of an emergency. With a fascination for anything shiny, Aurelius has quite the collection in his den, from his own savings of treasure to precious gems and everything in between.

Although he has calmed down as he aged, Aurelius still tends to be hyperactive and infectiously happy. Like other spirals, he tends to tie himself in knots whenever he has too much energy, or something frustrates him. Oddly enough, he also prefers to sleep wrapped around tree branches outside. No one knows how he manages to keep himself on the branch while asleep.


"Where'd you put it?"
"Put what?"
"....The treasure."
"What treasure?"
"You know what treasure. Get it and give it to me."
"Oh, that treasure. The treasure you told me to never give to you? Sorry, no can do."
"Tell me where it is and I'll get it myself then."
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"You told me never to tell you, that it was to be kept hidden til you had enough for that scroll."
"Fine, I'll find it myself."
"Ha, good luck~"
