As you enjoy your visit through the Clan of the Forgotten Earth, you stay long enough to see Yrvylth take court. She sits and listens to her subjects' questions, demands, inquiries, and problems, and does her best to negotiate terms and solve issues. For her time and wisdom, often her subjects will bring her gifts: food for her tables, grand fabrics and clothing, pets, and sometimes magical items. As you watch in awe as presenters bring these gifts forward, you notice a sparkling, chipper dragon scribbling down notes on a list. "Oh this?" she says as you approach and question her about her stacks of parchment. "Well someone has to keep track of everything we have and everything we need!"

Growing up in a family with very little to their name, Amrell was always good at keeping track of things: food, toys, furniture, blankets...She knew what was hers, what was her siblings', and what was her parents'. With all of her scribblings, her handwriting grew nicer, neater, and more clear, and she eventually took a job as a scribe for a local speech-writer, using her fabulous script to write down notes and transcribe his speeches.

Eventually as Amrell set off to find her fortune (and sent money back to her parents), Amrell discovered the Clan of the Forgotten Earth, and she discovered how utterly disorganized it was. One step inside the palace building and Amrell knew that she could do better than this. She could make this right. She offered her services in the moment, assuring the Matriarch that if there was anyone who could conquer the task of organizing this new clan, it was her. Yrvylth, charmed by Amrell's spunk, offered her a trial position that quick became permanent.

Now Amrell spends her days organizing the clan's lists, stock, hoard, and inventory. She knows where everything is, from the tiniest pair of scissors to the ballistae that Orgaid keeps for defense purposes. If anyone ever wants to know where anything is in the storage rooms, Amrell is the one to ask.
