Subject #1
Type: Hole
Location: South-east of the lair
Threat level: Unknown, caution advised
Research status: Ongoing
Description:
Pit that appears bottomless. Numerous tests have been conducted on the anomaly to figure out a pattern by which things that enter the pit return. Objects thrown into the pit may return after a 24h time frame. Every object thrown on Friday the 13th returns. The reappearance and disappearance of items seems to be random.
Living creatures have been tested, and although all of the flying ones have returned, we still haven't sent dragons down the pit.
Additional note:
DO NOT THROW EXPLOSIVES INTO THE PIT. I know it seems obvious, but some people have ridiculously low preservation skills and are prone to disasters. Not naming names. Sharp objects also seem to come back with full force, so be careful.

Subject #13

Threat level: unknown, caution required
Research status: Ongoing
Description:
Seems to be partially decomposed. Apparent bones on its left flank, and bits of skin falling off. Appears to have been a male pearlcatcher. Home flight unknown, as well as age or other personnal informations about this dragon. We are unnable to tell if its current genes and colors are of origin or if they're a direct result of what happened to it. We have not found out what happened to it yet.
Additional note:
Subject #13 does not appear to be hostile, but will follow us if we are in its line of sight. It keeps its distance, but we advise caution to whoever comes accross it. We are unnable to determine its intentions, if it even has any.

Subject #27
Type: Fungi colony
Location: Nivrim
Threat level: Dangerous, do not approach
Research status: Ongoing
Description:
Fungi colony that takes the form of a wounded dragon. It has been noted to immitate a dragon cry, but is unnable to form coherent sentences. Sentience levels unknown. If it is taking that form to lure another host or if it used to be a dragon before the fungi took over is unknown.
Additional note:
Do not breath in the spores it releases sporadically, as fungi will grown in your lungs and eventually lead to death by asphixia. Do not approach. Seek out a doctor if you come in contact with the colony.

Subject #30
Type: Undead
Location: Anywhere the sun touches
Threat level: Usually safe, stay alert
Research status: Complete
Description:
Shadows of dragons will rarely do anything while we are alive. It's just there. However, our shadows will be influenced by how we treat them. They become stronger as we grow older, and we infuse our soul in them little by little everytime they are cast. Depending on what is done to the body after someone dies, shadow people are born. Burying or cremating a body is a sure way to kill someone’s shadow. Most shadow people come forth from dead bodies laying someplace where the sun can reach it and cast a shadow. They can roam freely, detached from the body. They can walk in broad daylight, as long as the dead body has a shadow, and disappear when a light source cannot reach their dead body.
Shadow people use fear to keep dragons out of harm's way. If you meet an incomplete shadow, you can follow it to cast a light on it's host. It will thank you for it.
Additional note:
You will have more opportunities to meet Shadows in the Sunbeam Ruins.
They aren't ghost! They don't like to be refeared to that way.
