Lorna passed a good portion of her childhood traveling with her adventure-junkie and self proclaimed best bard of Sornieth (adopted) aunt, she can barely remember her parents, but her aunt smothered in love and affection so she never actually had time to miss them.
The duo often passed through Patera town and stayed there for a few days to rest, only to go back to some more months of travels (and then back to Patera to rest again). In these comings and goings she met Twich a cute edgy tundra hatchling that befriended her in one of her visits to the town, they started to exchange letters when she wasn't in town and he would always visit her and her aunt when they were back.
This friendship extended for years and only cemented some of her most hidden wishes, to stop travelling for good. One day, when Lorna was already an young adult she looked in her best (and oldest) friend eyes and felt like not leaving Patera anymore. She loved her aunt with her whole heart and her travels and adventures were pretty fun, sometimes visiting incredible places! But she was tired and wanted to settle, this time for good, and to her aunt surprise she didn't went with her when she prepared for her next adventure.
Her aunt was sad for losing her oldest and most beloved companion, but she understood, not everyone was meant for a life such as hers, one of never settling down.
Lorna then moved to Twitch's house and it was a matter of time until both of them fell in love with each other (the feeling was always there, they just never had the time to nurture it to something more than friendship before) and now they sing, both of them sort of following her aunt's footsteps in that regard, but Lorna is also a lover of history and magic and as such dedicates a good portion of her time studying things that she loves.
Her aunt still pops up from time to time to visit, glad to have an actual home to stay when she's tired of her travels and absolutely proud to see her hatchling blooming so beautifully and her new son singing in her footsteps.
